Mikey Garcia never mentions Crawford lol why is he focusing on a 130 loma?

Crawford is my guy. Mikey has mentioned him. He's not scared of him. Sums up everything that's wrong with this forum that people on here would slag off Mikey Garcia.

 

I feel like Loma is in the mayweather, prime roy jones jr category. Yea there is threats to them but when its all said and done its nearly impossible to beat them.

 

While this is true, and Robert Easter is a beast, Mikey would KO him or beat him pretty handily. That's the hardest fight at 135 for Garcia r/n.

I understand the hype and Robert Easter is extremely skilled and talented, but he is not ready for Mikey Garcia. He needs to learn to use his length and reach first.

 

He's just so highly skilled its crazy. Not too say he can't get hit with a good punch but he makes it a living hell for anyone in the ring trying to land on him.

 

Because Loma vs. Mikey is now much more talked about and seemingly wanted than Crawford vs. Mikey.

Exactly. Mikey's been dismissive of Loma when people bring up his name lately, says his best wins are against guys he beat first and he wouldn't get much credit for beating a smaller man. But he gives nothing but respect to Crawford and says that's the superfight he wants. It's actually not true. Loma's earned massive respect and is rated as the best p4p by most knowledgeable watchers of the sport, certainly higher than Mikey as good as he is. If Mikey's confident in his ability he SHOULD be chasing Loma, for the chance to beat the best and earn that respect himself.

 

yeah...when mikey says he beat guys first the loma guys rush in there to tell you "well it was only lomas blah blah fight" or whatever...never once taking into account they were almost the same age when the fought common opponents like salido and rocky martinez.....just because loma chose to turn pro later they act like its some amazing feat....loma seasoned himself the way he wanted...he should be fighting the level of guys hes fighting now....

 

I respect your opinion but I think that he's ready.

The two main people who've mentioned Mikey are Linares and Loma. That's the next best in his weight class and the best in the weight class below.

If he beats them and proves he's the best LW in the world, then he can move up.

Crawford should be focused on Indongo.
