Wonder if Mikey could potentially overtrain himself for the fight.

I'm rooting for Mikey as well, but he is facing a big challenge in Spence.

 

Mikey was fat AF getting into that ice tub. Lookin' like Drenlou/Queen of Cali.

 

Spence is a very good fighter, but he gets hit too much and makes mistakes on the inside. Mikey will have to fight the perfect fight to win and use all his tools in his arsenal but it isn't impossible. Mikeys counter punching will be his key to victory.

 

Stop looking at his *****, inoue gayfan!

 

Part of the reason as to why he took the fight IMO, is that he will try to use his speed to exploit Spence's more methodical style of breaking opponents down.

 

Also It’s going to be hilarious seeing the reactions of some on here if Mikey gets put on his face for a 10 count. I think Robert Garcia will have the towel in his hand the whole time. I really don’t care who wins this fight to be honest.

 

He will be in the best shape of his life but it still won't save him. His chin won't stand up to the pressure.

 

I feel same way. If Mikey doesn't have the pop to get Spence's respect, all Spence needs to do is punch with Mikey. Once Mikey gets hurt in a few exchanges, he will be in defensive mode and Spence will walk him down and eventually stop Mikey. Kinda like Salido did to Loma and Sorinvesia did to Chocolatito. Although Loma did not get stopped but, you get the point. You can have all the skill in the world but, if you can't hurt the bigger man, you pretty much need to depend on speed and one and done tactics. I just don't think Mikey possesses that type of speed.

I alway though Mikey looked like a Welterweight but it’s so hard to tell off videos ect.
I just hope he’s not doing a Kell Brook v Golovkin thing as the record for moving up weight classes is not on his side.
You see I’ve been trying to tell myself that Mikey is the more skilful boxer but I’m not even sure about that,we all heard about his supposed sparring of Floyd Mayweather.
I like both guys and will be rooting for the underdog but I’ve got this scary memory of Spence having taken a lot off Brook,just walking forward through Kell Brook like he was nothing and who can forget he broke Kells other eye to pieces.
I hope we have some sense on the night with Garcia’s team on the ball as weight classes do count for the majority.

 

I swear I never read this post before posting something similar,all the skill in the world counts for nothing if a skilled big man decides he can walk through everything from the smaller man.
Remember how well Brook fought against Spence only to fold at the end.
