for boxing. It is amazing he doesn't get as much grief as Ortiz received for Maidana. He has all the talent in the world but seems like a retired fighter to me. Vasyl didn't quit when the going got tough. When Salido finally stared finding the range, Garcia found a way out and his heart was exposed. That aspect is almost as bad as skillset being manipulated.
i've said it also. the dude quit. mikey was throwing everything in the book at him the last two rounds and salido was sitll coming on strong. mike is so overrated. he's doing everything to avoid crawford (no way he wins that fight and crawford beat him easy in amatuer). Mikey heart is not into boxing long term and it's obvious in the way he fights/opponents. MIkey will continue to fight easy cupcakes fighters, have a big fight then cash out. He's a mentally soft person. I can guarentee in the future if a fighter pushes him and he has to dig he will drown.
Salido was definitely starting to take over the fight when it was stopped. I assumed it was more Robert wanting to stop it than Mikey.
Mikey bent that guy over! how many times was he on the canvas? like 5 right? Was there for that fight..never saw a more dominant performance really. LOL at the fact salido was still standing and winging punches like a bum so that equated to him "coming on strong."
