Don't see this posted yet. Mikey's returning on the Frampton-LSC undercard, vs Elio Rojas, a featherweight who's fought once in the last four years. He says this fight will be at 140 but he'll be campaigning at lightweight.

He hasn't yet signed a long-term deal with a promoter, but he's fighting on a Haymon card and sat beside Sam Watson at the Thurman-Porter fight, so he looks to be committed to Uncle Al. There are a couple good fights at 135, Barthelemy, Easter, but I'm ultimately disappointed because this means we probably won't get to see him against Loma.

    Great to see him back.

Wonder what weight he'll settle at

I have a hard time seeing him bringing his power up to 140 or 147. I hope he stays at 135 for a while. 135 isn't bad, and beating Zlaticanin, Easter, and Linares would be really impressive. Apparently Barthelemy's moved up to 140, so him and Broner would be the obvious Haymon opponents. But 140 wouldn't be worth it if he doesn't fight the Crawford-Postol winner. At 147 he'd be facing not just skilled but much bigger and stronger guys, and I'd favour Danny Garcia, Khan, Brook, Spence over him, though Mikey's better p4p.

Garcia vs Lomachenko, 2017 (135). It would be wonderful.

This is great news! If he can make 135 he'll wipe out the pretenders there quick sharp.

My personal fave matchup in boxing. I really hope Mikey only deals with Haymon or any promoter, or network fight-by-fight so there's no obstacles to a Loma fight. In Loma's case I'm confident the better Mikey looks the more he'll insist Bob make the fight.

140's thinner than 135. After Crawford and Postol there's not much there. There's for sure 5 or 6 lightweights as good as Broner and Molina.
