    Mikey Garcia is better off retiring undefeated...he really ruined his career :patsch

    He will never have a bigger payday than what he made...without an L ending his undefeated run...either with TR or elsewhere... its not charity :yep

    It's not that simple. These contracts are puposely overstuffed with legalese. It's like they're written in a forgeign language.

    They have two different roles. Haymon is a manager/advisor. His responsibility is the fighter. Arum is a promoter. His responsibility is the event. The two roles are at odds with eachother, which is why they are supposed to be performed by separate entities. However, it seems like many promoters have also assumed the roles of de facto managers.

    how the **** did that slimeball get away with it!? if you are contracted 3mill YOU GET 3MILL.. its not his job to make sure the fight draws numbers.. he is the attraction he fights..

    Doesnt surprise me in the slightest. Gamboa tried to leave TR and he got screwed over big time and now has 50 cent as a promoter

    Its weird how Garcia's own manager (Cameron Dunkin) doesn't know much about this & with regards to Garcia only getting a fraction of the promised purse, after taking out manager fees, both trainers fees, s&c coach fee, tax etc he'd only be left with a fraction.
