He thought Loma vs Axe-Man and Rigo were going to be a lot more competitive than they were too

In ESPN and Top Ranks' contract, they are to have two ESPN PPV's in 2018.

This actually makes sense. It's hard to see Arum giving Garcia the payday he deserves if the fight's on ESPN, and with Loma now a more established star it's hard to see Arum allowing him to fight on PBC/Showtime, Mikey may not have a contract with Haymon or Showtime but he has of course been working with them his last several fights and is basically a Showtime fighter. Can HBO be the independent mediator? It could be an Arum/Haymon co-promotion in this case. HBO would love to air it and keep their slowing boxing franchise big, after losing out of Loma's fights to ESPN. And Arum being willing to still sell fights occasionally away from ESPN would be a positive sign. But please regular HBO, not ppv. If it's ppv it could just as well be a neutral non-HBO ppv. But it's hard to see either side being willing to budge for an ESPN or Showtime fight.

Interesting, I didn't know that. You'd expect Arum to open his pockets more for ESPN PPV, for fights he wouldn't splurge for on ESPN. There are also ABC airings with the TR ESPN deal, and Loma-Mikey on ABC would sure be awesome. But still hard to see Mikey jumping at fighting on an Arum show, so a neutral option should be a better way to get the fight made.

PAquiao started his career at 106.

Roberto Duran, pre-steroids at the same height as Chenko fought AND BEAT the best fighter of my lifetime SRL who was really a jr. middle. Then he moved to 154 and fought the youngest guy who ever won a world title, then he went back to 147 and fought the hardest puncher in boxing. Then he moved back to 154 and beat the best prospect in boxing, then he went to 160 and went 12 hard rounds with the best middleweight in the world.

Chenko's promoter said that he is the best fighter since Muhammad Ali. Ali has been retired since 1982, there have been a lot of great fighters. If this is true I expect to see GREAT things from him, not Tank Davis or mandatory contenders.

If he's just a decent world champ though, that's fine. It's up to him.
