    If it was the Mikey before the Spence fight I would agree but I think he would have some serious problems at 140 now.

    Mikey was always high quality if not necessarily the all -consuming talent some imagined.

    A motivated, on point Taylor, for example, beats even a peak Garcia at 140.

    Was that a "motivated, on point" version of Taylor? I don't think so, anymore than I believe the guy who lost a catch weigh fight to Sandor Martin represents the best version of Garcia.

    yes, he let his chance at greatness pass him by. the money at 147 was more important to him. wish he would have had more of a warrior spirit, but im not the one getting punched in the face. i wish him well in his retirement.
