This content is protected Mikey made it clear to Andy in the locker room before the fight that he can win this fight, that he has the speed and power to stop Joshua. Mikey reminded him that he can pull this off, that AJ's vulnerable, that he's been dropped he's been hurt so why can't you do it. This may have been a much needed confidence boost for Andy heading into the bright lights. Sometimes you just need to be reminded how good you are and make you believe that you can win even if the odds are stacked against you. I thinK Andy took that advice to heart and gave out with a renewed sense of purpose and opportunity. Not that he needed Mikey to motivate him, but that little pep talk couldn't hurt, it would have only made Andy more confident in himself, and maybe that little extra bit of confidence resulted in the victory.
I wish Mikey could have used that same motivation for himself when he fought Spence. Instead he allowed Spence to pull away very quickly from the first round.
