Mikey Garcia Vacated The WBC Lightweight Title; Lomachenko Fight Is DEAD.

Can't believe some are saying Campbell is bad. We should never judge him for the fight against Linares, as someone earlier said, a family death a few days before meant he was never going to be in the right place mentally for it. He would have given Linares a run for his money if that situation didn't happen.

Campbell on his day is second only to Loma in the division. I personally think he edges Teofimo out and beats Haney too, both on points. He's an olympic gold medallist for goodness sake.

Anyways...so Mikey is going to 147 then? That makes no sense whatsoever but okay...

Is he going to be the next Kell Brook? The guy who made rubbish decisions and ruined his career in the process? Looks like it to me. He should be fighting Campbell. But he KNOWS Campbell is a step above him and would give him a schooling. And we all know that now. Mikey isn't all he was cracked up to be. I myself should have looked at the amateur career and given it more weight than I did previously. Instead I ended up following the hype train.

He doesn't belong at welterweight....he should be setting his stall out at 140 and becoming undisputed champion if he thinks he's good enough. There's chasing greatness and then there's chasing stupidity. And Mikey is doing the latter.

A couple of days ago a friend of mine told me that when you go up in weight and you lose like that, you are never the same if you go back to your own weight.

It made me think a lot about it. Maybe he's right.

 

Mikey was not used at all. Mikey was ambitious for the fight and looks like he has made life changing money over $10 Million dollars. Haymon makes sure the fighters get paid unlike Top Rank. Loma and his team were not asking for Mikey until after the Spence fight because they think he is damaged and want it at Lightweight. Understand this Mikey is the A side to Loma and if Loma wants to make money then he comes to 140 if Mikey dictates such term. Mikey is a Boss as is Spence. Loma has a boss who is Bob Arum. Al Haymon makes his fighters money and makes them bosses. Tank makes more money than Loma.
