I haven't seen enough of Garcia. However, I don't see this fight happening anytime soon. One is a Top Rank fighter, one is a GBP fighter.
Ooooo great match up ... I'm high on both fighters ... its PPV type fight for me (meaning. Id pay to watch ... not an actual ppv fight)
Mickey Garcia would beat Broner with in 8 rounds, Mikey is to strong and has way to much power for broner.
This is a toss up for me. If I had to call a winner I'd probably say Broner. He seems to have better defense.
I feel garcia is more talented I think he has top p4p potential, broner has hype now. I would love to see this fight within 2 years.
Garcia is a Mexican-American 'G'. This would be a hell of a fight. At this point, I'd pick Broner though. Not sure why exactly, just a gut feeling that he'd be too quick and sharp for Garcia.
Garcia would probably get controlled on outside due to Broner's speed and what I'm sure has to be a reach advantage, however the way Garcia punches, and the way Broner drops his hands, pulls back away from punches, gets wide with his punches sometimes, you could easily see Garcia putting him down and out. I guess it would come down to whether Broner could concentrate for long enough and not take any unnecessary risks that could leave him open.
Won't happen anytime soon. Garcia will make some noise at 126 first. I'm very high on Garcia and expect big things from him. Let Broner fights Perez, Magdaleno or Burgos first. On the other side Garcia should take on Salido, Gonzalez or Lopez. There are more established names at FW but Broner got some real competition at super FW too.. A lot of things will happen before/if they eventually meet.
Mikey Garcia would win. Broner is just another overrated Al Haymon fighter. Mikey is the real deal. But Garcia should stay at 126, there's no need to move up at this point in his career. I'd like to see him fight Gamboa, I believe he has the right style to beat him.
Gary Russell is way too fast and strong. Garcia would get hit hard and often. If he isn't put to sleep then he is dominated until big brother Robert pulls the plug.
