Russell Jr is a good prospect, but fought mostly bums. Didnt he last fight an 8.rounder? Still featherfisted and yea I saw his KO on Sat...

now that gamboa left, Garcia will have the oportunity to clean at 126 and maybe wait for Nonito and land a megafight, by the time he goes up in weight Broner will be a lightweight or welter.
if they fight today i like Garcia, but could be close.

Broner lost to Daniel Ponce De Leon ! That was agift decision ! He looked great vs Litzau, but still needs some more experience ! I think Garcia beats him right now ! Hes been fighting a bit longer at a slightly better level of competition ! Mikey needs motivation at times but , Man! can that ki bang !!

I like Garcia in this one. Broner has gotten severaly overrated. He went life and death with Daniel PDL for Christ's sake. So he knocked out a guy with a known glass jaw and another guy who wasn't more than a gatekeeper. He's good, but he's not great, and he CERTAINLY doesn't have as much talent as the fighter he obviously tried to emulate. Garcia is more of a boxer-puncher in the traditional Mexican fighter mode. I don't know if he'll be great or anything, but he clearly has real talent, and he clearly makes good fights. I suspect he'll be pretty good someday, but even if he isn't, I'll still want to watch him.

I remember watching Garcia go damn near the full 12 versus Cornelius Lock before he finally got the TKO, but Lock was ahead on one of the Scorecards. Broner boxes to a comfortable Decision.

Garcia is a dynamite puncher. I really like him, and would favour him to get to Broner.

Broner couldn't keep Ponce off of him, what do you expect him to do against Rios? I don't know why people are quick to throw Feather and Super Featherweights in with Rios straight away. Rios is a ****in' beast.
