Mikey Garcia vs Danny Garcia @140lbs, who takes it?

Mikey is a class above Danny, but his chin hasn't really been tested at 140 for me to know if he can actually take a punch of a powerful 140 puncher like Danny. If Danny lands the left once, it could take Mikey's head off like it did to Khan. I think the safer bet is Mikey.

I would like to see it.. I pick Mikey right now. Danny really let his career go.. He was undefeated before Thurman and just rested on that, and then he lost. Talk about a guy ruining his own career.

 

I'm far more impressed by Mikey Garcia's boxing ability. His combinations seem to be more coordinated and he doesn't have lapses where he is just waiting for his opponent to do something. He also has better lateral movement and a better sense of keeping the optimal distance for both defense and offense.

 

How can they both be Garcia and not be brothers? Aren't all Garcia's brothers? Gee! You learn something amazing every day on this forum!

 

I have never seen brothers fighting in the ring for money. . The Klitscho's refuse to even entertain the idea. However, I'm sure that brothers do spar in the gym

This is not to say that brotherhood is any guarantee of friendship. There have been brothers who have murdered brothers. The Biblical Cain is an example.

If Herrera can do it then so can Mikey. D.Garcia is a very flatfooted counterpuncher. Mikey would be drawing Danny's offence and working for gaps in that. Danny is just very awkward but I think the Garcia's could work him out. (assume the fight happened with 2017 Mikey Vs 2013/14 Danny @ 140)
