If you ask Mikey and Grandpa (Robert) Garcia, I’m sure they’ll say yes. Then they’ll actually try to convince Rigo to come out of hiding to fight him at 135. This way Mikey can beat an even more blown up version of Rigo quicker than Loma did at 130. The best part is that this would give the Garcias leverage at the negotiating table, while the fight with Loma “marinates.”

Could he split a pair with the equivalent of a journeyman like Pat Lawlor or with a blown-up former 154lb champ who just happens to be still bopping around in the division, like Jorge Castro? So could he go 2-2 all in all versus, say, Mateo Damian Verón and Harry Simon? Yeah, sure, I guess, if that's where you want to set the bar for "moderately successful".
