Mikey Garcia vs. Jorge Linares Will Be Pushed By The WBC

    This is great news! I've been saying this is one of the best matchups out there for a while. Forget Lomachenko or Crawford for Mikey for now, settling who's boss at 135 should be priority. Two of the best technical boxers around, Linares with the speed edge and Mikey with the power. Of course we know Linares' chin is what makes us have to lean to Mikey, but Linares is good enough to hide it and avoid the ko power.

    Sometimes the alphabets do help us get a fight that isn't otherwise too easy to make. Mikey is technically a free agent though has been working with Haymon his last three fights. Linares with Oscar is supposed to fight on HBO in September, Luke Campbell the rumoured opponent. December sounds perfect. Of all the matchups this year, Ward-Kovalev, GGG-Canelo, the super fly card, the Cruiser tourney... if it happens this one's my personal fave.

    I like Linares but he better stay away from Mickey I'm glad for him making decent money and finding his ideal division.

    Linares is a problem for most guys but he has a habit of fading down the stretch. He can box beautifully though and it'd be a good test for Garcia.

    After Golovkin Vs Canelo, and the cruiser tourney, this is the best news this week.

    Hope this fight gets made.
