    Seems like an HBO/Showtime thing.

    He said in the postfight interview anyone willing to come on Showtime can get it. Thurman would.

    Loma or Crawford is as great of a win to me as Thurman. Just as long as he tangos with any of those 3. Fight with Swift wouldn't be bad either.

    Mikey is far better than Thurman in terms of skill level. But the weight would be too much. When Broner landed clean to the body it seemed to affect Mikey, Broner rarely landed clean which made Mikey look more durable than he is. He's been knocked down twice. At 147, unless Mikey can take punches up there and his power comes up with him(it didn't look like it carried up to 140, he has power still but not the Mikey Garcia power we're used to), Thurman will beat him.

    It's just talk. The Garcia's know now that Mikey does not have enough power for 147 (unless he's going to fight Paulie).

    Mikey just came up to 140 for the first time, 147 is too much weight at this time.........................but Mikey has tons of skills................

    He shouldn't go higher than 140, not everyone is PAC man, I think he would struggle with Crawford and He's welterweight boiled down so I can't it going well campaigning against fullyblown welterweights.

    Saying that I think mickey would beat danny Garcia, you have to admire his hunger for big fights though.

    Or because of the fact he's on HBO and with bob, mikey clearly said after fight anyone who wants a fight contact showtime.

    The Mikey that fought Broner (excellent dominating performance
    by the way) doesn't beat Crawford, Thurman, Spence, Brook, Danny
    or Porter.

    There were so many things that could've been capitalized on that fight
    that Broner didn't do. All of the aforementioned would capitalize on.

    Even at 140 he should stay far away from Crawford, and at 147 Spence
    would stop him, Keith would hurt him, Danny would be a 50/50 fight
    (I'm dead serious), and he'd have a life and death struggle with Porter.

    He's a phenomenal talent but should stay at 135.

    He was asking if he was aware that most of the fans in attendance were cheering him on by the end because they were impressed by his performance, whereas at the start the crowd support for each fighter seemed more equal.

    I admire Mikey's confidence. But 147 is too far IMO. They have some really big WWs there. Thurman and Spence for starters who will punish Mikey. I'd rather see him go back down to 135 get some good wins and then stay at 140 full time after that.

    Garcia's fearlessness is admirable but he was campaigning at featherweight 7 fights ago (granted he was a huge feather and had fought above the feather limit numerous times).

    He's only fought at super-feather 3 times after officially moving up.

    Then he returned at 138 for his comeback fight after being sidelined for 2.5 years.

    Then in his next fight he fought Zlaticanin for the lightweight crown.

    And he just fought Broner at 140 on Saturday night.

    So he's only fought above the super-featherweight limit 4 times in his career.

    Against Elio Rojas who was a blown up super-feather who had only fought above 130 twice himself.

    And in his debut against a 0-3 (now 0-8) tomato can. And he only weighed 1 pound above the super-feather limit for that one.

    Now he's talking about moving up to 147 to face the likes of Thurman. Garcia's a brilliant fighter and unquestionably one of the very best in the world, but I'd much rather see him hang around at 135-140 for a while instead of jumping up to 147 to take unnecessary risks against much naturally bigger, stronger and legitmate hard punching welters like Thurman and Spence.

    This is what Robert Guerrero had to say about Thurman

    STRONGEST
    Keith Thurman:     Physically he’s very strong and you can feel it when the fight gets on the inside. He’s actually a natural 154-pounder fighting at 147, so you can imagine how strong he is. He’s just got that natural strength. Some people are just born strong.

    BEST PUNCHER
    Thurman:     Thurman really knows how to put all his power behind his punches. Even when he’s moving laterally, he finds a way to land a big shot from a weird angle. He has power in both hands.

    Yes I am aware that Guerrero was a feather/super-feather/lightweight that jumped up to 147 and scored a couple of decent wins at that weight and lasted the distance against the naturally bigger Thurman.

    I'm also cognizant of the fact that Garcia is better than Guerrero and much more skilled. But those beatings Guerrero took at the hands of Thurman and Kamegai took an awful lot out of him and he we know for sure that he had a hell of a beard on him and was able to take what big, strong WW punchers could dish out, whereas we've only seen Garcia's beard tested above 130 a couple of times

    Against Broner who can punch a bit but he's hardly a savage puncher. He hasn't stopped many since moving up from 130.

    Zlaticanin is a big puncher at 130 but did he even catch Garcia with any hard shots in their fight?

    I'd rather see Garcia bulk up a little and grow into 147 before he thinks about mixing it up with the big dogs up there. Some of those guys hit really hard.
