Salido can bang and he has a hell of a chin and he is super aggressive. Definitely a step up fight for Garcia. I saw a lot of adaptibility from Salido, I think he might KO Garcia late in the 10th or 11th.
Mikey all night, it is a great fight and it will bring out the best of Mikey... But barring Mikey hiding some china chin, he is to technically sound carries to much power that will get the respect of salido, there is no way I see Mikey losing I am that sold with his skill set.. Don't count Salido out though, as Mikey has never dealt with this high level of pressure and he may buckle and that is what makes this fight interesting.
I'd favor Salido. We haven't really seen Mike tested yet under the consistency Salido would bring, and the sneaky punches Salido is able to set up might be a new look that catches Garcia off guard. I wouldn't be surprised if Garcia won as he is very fundamentally sound and the fresher fighter, but I see experience giving the veteran the edge here.
I'm picking Salido. The confidence and experience he's picked up will be too much for the young upstart.
Garcia. I would be astonished if Mikey didn't precisely counter those wide looping punches Salido throws.
I see 2 ways this fight goes. If Salido presses like he usually does then he gets stopped in about 6-8 rounds. If he feels Garcias power early then he loses a wipeout something like 10-2 rounds at best. Garcia is the truth man. Guy is damn near perfect. If you dont think so please name a weakness.
