Some think Mikey Garcia with beat WW Champ Spence in some manner.

Wonder what would happen if Garcia's Management threw Mikey in
    with prime Pipino Cuevas?

    Garcia is completely overrated.

I saw him on the cover of a Boxing Magazine recently with the title (along the lines of) "can he be a 5 time champ? Joining Hearns, SRL etc" and I thought that was a huge insult, because his achievements are overblown.

    Cuevas before the halfway interval.

He stands a better chance with his great disciplined style against a slower Cuevas than a skilled fast accurate assassin like Spence

I think so also. he is not in that class with Hearns, Duran and Leonard to win 4 titles. Boxing has to change.

brutal exhibition. I know Hearns fought Kinchen in a exhibition years after he fought him in 1988.. He also did an exhibition against Bill Superfoot Wallace, a kickboxer. I am not too much of a fan of exhibitions. Why not just go for the real thing. Floyd's exhibitions are jokes. He shouldn't be paid much for exhibitions.

Joe Louis did numerous exhibitions during his days in WW2 Military Service and k.o.'ed some legit, mid-grade Heavyweight "contenders", plus numerous "base champs".

Louis would embark upon a schedule of staging 96 boxing exhibitions during nearly four years of service at installations all over the world including Fort Lee on Sept. 15, 1943. More than 2 million military members saw "The Champ" strengthen their sense of purpose through his athletic skills, wholesomeness and humility.
