    Assuming 135-140, who takes it?

I would still take Garcia, he knows he can take Lopez's shots and get the right hand in.

Mikey does the same thing that he did against Spence. Shells up and goes into survival mode. However unlike Mikey, Loma had him figured out, grew some balls and actually won the lion's share of the last 6 rounds, he didn't shell up and do everything in his power to not get KO'd.

I hate to bear bad news but Mikey is currently eating his way into Adrien Broner permanent welterweight status since Spence. They would have to fight at 154.

That Spence fight was a one off. Usually Mikey is a game fighter. I dunno what he plans on doing at 147 but he should have stayed at 135, its white hot right now. Welter is a dead division full of duckers.

Really? Lipinets and Broner are both 140. He went back down for a one off against Easter, then back up to face Spence was a bridge too far. Well Loma probably shouldn't be at 13 to start with, and Lopez was massive and clearly a Light Welterweight in there tonight, arguably a Welter. He's not long for 135.

werent you guys ignoring the size difference when loma vs mikey was being talked about? wasnt loma gonna school the bigger 4 division champ? i always said mikey would have rag dolled him.
the more things change, the more they stay the same.

mikey beats everyone under 147, including teofimo. but like willie said, he would need to get back on rabbit food for 6 months, instead of the 5 daily meals of mexican food his current sacrifice requires.

Its a compelling matchup if we're talking the Garcia of 4 years ago.

Not much of a question at this point

If Mikey took the same risk Loma took, we might have had a different outcome, in theory a boxer is always one punch away from changing the fight momentum. Problem is that being in the ring is not that easy even for top Elite boxers, only few can implement plan-B in the middle of a fight.
