Mikey Garcia vs Yuriorkis Gamboa at Jr Lightweight

Good fight, but I think Garcia takes it....
He has that work ethic... Not sayin Gamboa doesn't , but Garcia has really been looking good

Dude I don't see the greatness in Garcia YET....he's ok as a boxer but all of robert Garcia fighters are the same this would be a good fight but my money is on Gamboa

The golden chance for Garcia is now, because the level of inactivity of Gamboa, who has not been offered fights since long time ago ... If Gamboa comes to fight in his best shape he will outbox and pick Garcia apart ...

 

I'm going with Gamboa on points. Garcia will have problems with his speed imo, I see it being really close and probably a contender for fighter of the year but Gamboa will nick it for me.

Would this be at 130? Yuriokis has been at 135 for a while now.

I could see both guys hitting the ground in an exciting fight. At 130, I'll go with Mikey given Gamboa hasn't been at the weight for awhile now.

 

I dont see whats all the hype about Garcia either, he is average at best and with good management,

 

Mikey is more of Eduardo Garcia fighter, until very recently where Robert has taken more control, He's an excellent Boxer, his output can be low and his chin doesn't look solid but he has the power to put people off from coming after him - he is a elite puncher, Power + Speed + Accuracy + Timing.

 

Garcia is a sharpshooter. Gamboa is good, but he will struggle to avoid Garcia's lazer shots.

 

60/40 fight in favor of Gamboa.

 

Gamboa still fights like an amateur. Rinse and repeat. He has been underwhelming for awhile now. Garcia is too polished and too good.
