He didn't fight just to get out of his contact and now He picking his opponents and winning easy titles says it all

I won't be surprised at all if Mikey stays at 140 after the Lipinets fight...
As I see it he will try to drag Linares there to fight him at the super lightweight.

I too am a fan of Mikey but if this is true then he really is just cherry picking. What I think will happen is that Mikey will probably stay at 140lbs for the rest of 2018 and be very difficult for him to go back to 135lbs considering his age. Say bye bye to Lomachenko fight if that happens.

Mikey’s not safe at 140. I believe Regis Prograis has something the Godcia clan wishes to avoid.

Maybe Robert will have his honorary publicist from EsNews Boxing record his response to Mikey fighting Spence, Crawford, Hurd, Jermell, Thurman, and Brook. Of course we know Grandpa (Robert) thinks Mikey can beat those guys in back to back fights, in any order, on the same day.

With that confidence and belief in Mikey’s ability, he’ll accept a “throwback fight” with the Hebrew Hamma instead. Or maybe he’ll use his fists to loosen the braids of Adrian Granados’s son, Amir Imam.

Are you calling Easter Jr. a sell out? He seems like an honest guy to me.

Mikey is a talker. He's probablyone of, if not the worst case, of talking and not backing it up in recent times.

Cotto was not a diva. Please don’t compare Mikey Garcia to that Hall of Fame warrior.

I consider myself a Cotto fan. However, he is the epitome of a diva. I’ll eat my words if you can provide footage of his post fight interview, conducted in the ring, after his loss to Austin Trout.

So walking out of the ring without doing an interview makes him a diva? Is Marquez also a diva?

Walking out of the ring and consistently referring to himself in 3rd person is enough for me to think he’s a diva.

On the other hand, I consider Marquez an extremely ungracious loser, but definitely not a diva since feel like you have to be on the A side to be a diva.

This brings me back to Cotto. He was the A side against Trout AND the fans were there to see him, in Madison Square Garden no less. Don’t you think they wanted to hear his thoughts immediately after the fight? I know I did.

If you are a Cotto fan, you would forgive him for not giving an interview after a very disappointing loss, as you appear to forgive Marquez. At least it shows how much he wanted to win.

I am guessing there is something else Cotto did that you didn’t like. Was it slapping Maravilla around like a ho and taking the lineal middleweight title from him?

When did Marquez ever say that “Marquez will do what’s best for Marquez and not do anything that Marquez doesn’t want to do”?

When has Marquez refused to conduct a post fight interview?

I actually enjoyed watching Cotto beat Martinez, especially after the way Martinez conducted himself in the buildup to the fight. He said some disrespectful things to Cotto.

At the same time, I wish Cotto would’ve taken the fight when Sergio was closer to his best, most likely anytime prior to the JCC Jr. fight when he tore up his knee. He was never the same after that injury and Freddie knew it, which is why the fight happened.

Are you Puerto Rican or something? You seem offended that anyone would call Cotto a diva for Cotto’s tendency to always talk about Cotto whenever Cotto wants to discuss anything that concerns Cotto (in 3rd person) AND not conducting a post fight interview after a disappointing loss. Plus, why did you feel it necessary to try to disparage a Mexican (JMM) in order to defend Cotto?
