That was fast...it's been less than a week since the Garcia fight. It's going to be a very exciting match-up. Garcia has never fought anyone as fast as Gamboa. He's been fighting tough Mexican fighters for the last few years and has not fought anyone outside of that mode. It's going to be interesting to see how Garcia handles speed and how Gamboa handles a guy with good timing. I'm favoring Gamboa slightly in this fight.
This. i'm glad they're trying to make this match because it's a good one. but Gamboa being out for so long doesn't fill me full of confidence. he could pull it off. it wouldn't surprise me if he did, but i'd have to slightly edge it to Garcia.
This is a pick em and should be a good fight. Both of these guys are chinny and both have a leaky defense - but Gamboa has the edge in speed and punching power, IMO. I think they're pretty close in terms of boxing ability. What I'd like to know is; Why is TR taking this risk with their potential future cash cow?
