If he wants to put RESPEK back on his name after his DISGRACEFUL effort against Spence...

Maybe his first fight back do a catch weight at about 137, to see how his body responds & if he would be able to get down to 135 eventually.

    Then defend vs Luke Campbell

Hopefully after that get a fight vs Loma

After that maybe Teo Lopez will have a belt...

Then pick up a belt at 140 VS Hooker

And fight the top dog at 140 either Prograis or Taylor

Please dont ever go back to 147 he slooked slow with no power, looked like he had drank a 12 pack & had carne asada every night of camp...

Thats his path if he wants to get respect back

He took a chance at greatness, Spence was too big and too good. What are you gonna do, you make mistakes in life. I don't think he'll fight at 135 again, he doesn't seem like that hard of a trainer. 140 is right. I don't know if he'd beat Taylor or Lopez though. I think the rest he beats. Prograis is a good, slightly-overhyped fighter.

Mikey may want to stay away from Maurice Hooker....Mikey might have "Spence nightmares" all over again.

Hooker is from Dallas too, and even has longer dimensions than Spence.
    stance orthodox
    height 5′ 11″
    reach 80″

i think that would prove exactly what i see. mikey would give hooker more than he can handle, which would prove how good a boxer spence is, and how good mikey is.

Jerry Jones wouldn't have any problem putting on a Garcia v Hooker fight in Dallas...then we can find out where Garcia is at now. Hope the fight comes off.

Lopez-Mikey would be a phenomenal fight. Mikey's experience and defensive skills against Lopez' explosive power. They should do it at 140.

lopez will be at 140 this time next year, says he aint waiting and wants loma this year. so i imagine mikey aint passing up a huge fight at 140 no matter who it is. i would love to see him face both loma at 135, and mikey at 140.
i think arum is willing to make the loma fight for teo. loma really doesnt have the financial possibilities for the future at this point, that a teofimo lopez does. arum makes a mint pitting him against loma, if he wins, hes the real deal and the next huge money making star. if he loses, he was too small for 135 and arum has many years to build him back up to a star, like what was done with canelo.
for loma, if he wins, only mikey is left for a big fight. if he loses, down to his natural weight at 130 to clean house.

This gal is really weak. I'm sure Loma said, when asked about Lopez, I don't know much about him, and he wouldn't because Lopez is an up and comer. But this gal is trying to spin it saying "he doesn't think of you at all." What crap. Come on, lady, your losing cred with these kinds of comments. Loma knows Lopez is an up and comer but Loma has been in the business so long and is constantly fighting world class fighters. Look at the records of Loma's opposition. Staggering. He will address Lopez when Lopez makes a case for him to be in the ring with him. I think Lopez has a bright future but anytime an up and comer has a brutal KO the buzz starts. Mason Menard created the buzz but let's not forget Menard has been brutally KOd before. Beltran did it. Menard was KOd in the first round of his 3rd fight. So, although Lopez looked sensational against Menard, he is still not even close to the stature of Loma, at this point. That doesn't mean he can't beat Loma. And fighting at 135 is decidedly in favor of Lopez. He would be the much bigger fighter fight night.

Well, she's actually (almost ) right. In fact, Loma generally doesn't even mention (intentionally in order not to promote him more) Lopez' name. When asked about him, he usually answered something like "there are guys who just want ... but they...". But that time, when this girl interviewed him and asked about Lopez, Loma literally said "I don't think about him".

Lopez is a 21-year-old 12 and 0 fighter with 10 KOs. Why would Loma have an opinion on the guy, at this point? Come on, let's be real.

Yeah. So why would he think about him? Or is there something lost in interpreting/translating that I don't understand? Did she say it in a way that "he (Loma) is not of a high opinion of you?"

Your right Hooker does have those stats on paper but the man crowds himself and gives away his height in almost every fight i've seen him in.

That was certainly what she was not so subtly suggesting.

Oh, thanks. In that case that's obviously not true.
Loma said "I don't think about him" (=I have other things to worry about).

You are right ^. But Hooker is still learning. I may drive over to his training camp in Dallas and see what is being said over there. Rumor has it that Hooker may have his next fight in June, 2019.
