Mikey is a stone cold top 5 p4p elite and he and his team are far from stupid, probably one of the smartest teams in boxing. If they didnt see something they were sure he could exploit, this fight would not be happening. It will be close.

No fighter has comprehensively destroyed all their opponents that arent on their level. Hes a 5 weight champ going after another top p4p fighter who is noticeably bigger. I think he sees something and it will be close.

Everyone complains top guys never fight each other, then when they do its for a cash out? Come on buddy youre better than this.

 

While I agree Mikey is a P4P fighter, a good big man beats a good small man. We saw how easily Loma dispatched Rigo. While I don't think Spence is at Loma level, relatively speaking, his body punches will thwart any plans Mikey has. I just don't see how Mikey can hurt Spence. I think a Spence TKO via body shots is coming if not a liver shot ala Hopkins vs DLH.

Respect to Mikey for taking this fight but a fight with Loma would have been more intriguing. I hope Mikey proves me wrong and he'll definitely shoot up to #2 if not #1 on the P4P list.
