Same thing I've been saying about Donaire basically. I don't see him going up until he can handle it though. He has been brought along very well by his people and they ain't gonna **** it up now chasing bigger guys for bigger paydays. The only thing I'd like to see from him is for him to generate more offense. I've only seen a couple of his fights though so it might be the opponents he's faced when I was watching.

 

Garcia really impressed me tonight. Been reading about this guy a lot but I fel he has really good ring IQ to back up his lightning speed and excellent footwork. His power comes from his speed and technique rather than raw strength.

 

Just based on what I saw tonight I expect him to start getting consideration in p4p rankings in the near future (next year or two). Salido might not be that skilled but being one tough MF'r can count for a lot in boxing and Mickey had an easy time with him.

Like I said before, Mikey has been brought along VERY carefully so I gotta believe his team sees something if they are calling for this fight.

 

Well, with Salido's disgraceful jaw line. I was surprise he didn't get KTFO.Mikey is elite and will be a force to be reckoned with. Mikey is only getting better will be more and more aggressive and get plenty strong in the future.

looks like the garcia camp taking a page out of pacroid book,..by trying to gain exposure piggy backing another fighter

 

that would be an amazing fight, i lean towards gamboa but mikey will be his toughest fight to date

 

Mikey has the skills to compete with the best... He has to let that nose heal first!

lets not get to hype like doc off of him beating a old washed up,wear and tear wore down salido.

he is no where the fighter he was when gamboa killed him and he beat juanma,...

acording to "doc" mikey garcia has a royal **** that doc worships 3 times a day on.

 

Gamboa doesn't even have a real promoter. His career is toast because he will end up guys he doesn't belong in the ring against because Curtis Jackson doesn't understand the game well enough. Curtis had to crawl back to Arum to get a fight for Gamboa as it was. This cannot end well for Gamboa. You can take that one to the bank.
