the article made some good early points about the reaons for bad fights in general, but then quicly turned into homo worship. what american lhw's did kessler call out that won't fight him? did the article even mention miranda's supposed offer or why the hero kessler didn't take it (after 10 minutes i had to skim the rest of the article). werhe siaca, beyer, lucas that good when kessler beat them?

They were better than Miranda is now!

  3. You wrote the article? Don't get me wrong, it's a good article but her's the line that vexed me:

"Given that Calzaghe is almost 36 and fading, he also deserves to be let off the hook somewhat. Perhaps Calzaghe simply doesn't believe he would beat Kessler a second time…"

As I said Decebal, it's a terriffic article but I can't agree on this part. I think Joe would do even better a 2nd time, sussing Kessler easier than Kessler would figure out Joe. I think Joe knows he'd beat hima 2nd time too but it wouldn't really mean anything -

No I disagree. not everyone should read the article. Only the ones that want to and have the ability should.;)

For what its worth I thought it was an interesting article. A bit long but good points were made.

I think Kessler will rise to the top again - hes to good to stay down for long.

I would like to offer my opinions on what kessler should do. First off i'd like to say as an american that i do agree that we are the most hypocritical, arrogant, and ignorant posters on this forum(except me)
Since froch/inkin is being aired on showtime on the 29th & the winner of that fight will get a shot at the WBC title, kessler should be looking to the winner of that fight for a shot at one of his old belts. A stay busy fight for good money against miranda on HBO would be a smart biz move and would get him leverage for inkin/froch as both would fight
in denmark for the world title. Kessler needs to fight miranda to stay busy while targeting the winner of froch/inkin. He could and would be a world champ again before 2009 if he goes this route. Then when stinky
wright calls out the champ, kessler can tell him to **** off!

Kessler is a virtual nobody in the US and will continue to be until he beats a good American fighter.

Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
    Wheres the street-wise hercules
    To fight the rising odds?
Isnt there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night toss and turn and dream of what I need

    I need a hero
Im holding out for a hero til the end of the night
    Hes gotta be strong
    And hes gotta be fast
And hes gotta be fresh from the fight

i am sure deram does the lyrics for bonnie tyler.
