My views on this is that Kessler would be the sort of name on your resume that could boost your career to be a future HOFer (Ward, Calzaghe) but will never quite get to the HOF level himself. However there is always the chance that he cleans up 175, you just never know I guess
Theres cerainly people less deserving in terms of accomplishments in there already, but my answer, too, would be no. It'd be nice to see though.
As of right now, the answer is no. If he can pull off the fight against Froch and maybe one other big win that might be enough to eek his way in as a borderline case.
he is fringe he unified with a solid knockout of Beyer he ran up a very good undefeated record fought one of the biggest fights in SMW history maybe 2nd all time to Jones Toney he lost then he won back a title then he entered the S6 as number 1 if he won the whole thing he prob would be HOF he lost to Ward but won his 3rd title at the weight class by beating Froch a guy whose hailed on here and pulled out basically hes kind of ****ing himself now keeps pulling out of fights and keeps getting in lay offs he lost his biggest fight and lost to a guy breaking out he pulled out of Bute which could have been a big win, if he won and a 4th title and pulled out vs weak link holder stieglitz and could have won a 4th title to get in the HOF secure a rematch and win vs Froch coming off a huge win, beat S6 champ Ward or win a 4th title some how at 168 or move up to 175 clean house
