He needs to fight Perdomo to keep his WBA title for the SMW tournament... I dont see any problem with that!

Now that Kessler has signed for Sour-land I think it's extremely unlikely he'll be fighting anywhere other than Germany, which given the appalling record of fighters being shafted there, rounds being cut short and lengthened to give the house fighter the advantage; I can't see any of the top SuperMiddles being interested. Therefore kessler continues to fights bums in his comfort zone.Hope I'm wrong, but that the way I see it

The only time I can remember that happening anytime recently was in Spain?

You also appear to have missed the announcement of the press conference on Monday where Kessler, Abraham, Froch, Dirrell, Ward and Taylor are due to appear to announce a series of fights against each other.

Plus the guy who did it was a turk. At least Sauerland wasn't caught handing money in an envelope to an official like Arum was.

    Here's the tournament schedule:

The tournament, which will consist of nine preliminary bouts followed by the semifinals and final, begins Oct. 10 and is supposed to finish in May or June of 2011.

The tournament is scheduled to begin with a split-site doubleheader on Oct. 10. In England, Froch will face Dirrell and in Germany, Abraham will face Taylor.

On Nov. 7, probably in Oakland, Kessler will defend against Ward. Other matches include Abraham against Dirrell in January in the U.S.; Froch against Kessler in March in Europe; Ward against Taylor in spring 2010 in the U.S.; Ward facing his Olympic teammate in summer 2010 in the U.S.; Froch against Abraham in summer 2010 in Europe; and Kessler against Taylor in the U.S. in fall 2010.

The semifinals would take place in January 2011 with the final to be held in the U.S. in May or June.

    Absolutely stunning.
