i fancy kessler to scrape by with a decision. collins has teh rough house style to give kessler problems
I think collins is one of the most over rated fighters of the 90's! made his name beating a old eubank, by the the way i had eubank beating him by 2 rounds in the first fight, and beating a washed up nigel benn. Every time collins faced a fighter who wasnt over the hill he got beat! mccallum and johnson both boxed the ears of him, to be fair he showed great heart in both fights, even a just past his prime kalambay beat him. Also he avoided joe calzaghe, he was happy to beat up on old fighters but he wanted nothing to do with a fresh hungry lion like calzaghe. I dont think he would of lived with a prime watson, benn or eubank, he would of got a beating of all 3 of them. Also heard that back in the early 90's he really avoided herol graham, and avoided graham when he made a comeback aswel. Any one else heard that?
It's adaptibility that ****s with Kesslers head. Collins is there to be combo'd to death. He'd fare little better than Andrade. Kessler WIDE UD Collins is massively overrated.
Lets see how Kessler does this weekend against the speedy Ward. Could put things more in perspective.
I know but if he loses to ward, maybe Kessler isnt as great as a lot of people thought he was going into the calzahge fight.
Yes but beating Kessler lifted Calzahge to super status. Bet it doesnt do that for Ward if he shuts him out. Collins was a workhorse and a good one. Kessler hasnt done **** to be up in Collins league yet.
In 1992 Collins would not be able to deal physically with the Dane. I struggle to see Steve winning in his mid 90s prime, so in 92, he would have even less chance. Kessler TKO10, as the brave Irishman is pulled out by his corner, in a fairly one sided beating.
I've already seen this fight: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7JlIDZJ3yk&feature=related[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaoFXmvYh8g&feature=related[/ame]
the peak of the nuthugging. you must be kessler's girlfriend to imagine it , or at least on some heavy duty stuff.
