Mikkel Kessler vs. Allan Green RBR

That is vintage stuff. I already knew Kessler was that good but this is absolutely blasting. I was expecting a dull 12 round UD like Ward pulled out but he left hooked him just on target and according to law. Reminds me McCallum left hook on Donald Curry and down he went, str8 to dreamland. Props, baby.

 

At one point in time, a long time ago, I overestimated Allen Green. I could not identify a signficant flaw that eventually put him in the situation where he is now.

I'm surprised this fight wasn't a Showtime or HBO fight. Not too long ago, Green was a player at 168, and Kessler was a belt holder.

 

Nah, not the best ko i seen from Kessler. He did better in his early days. But it was damn good left, no doubt!

 

Nah. I watched the round. Green was active, standing his ground, countering over Kesslers left and generally doing well. After round 1 he looked like **** and Kessler stepped it up which resulted in..... well, you know

 

I definitely shouldn't have taken the over. At least I had Kessler.

 

I've only seen Green getting beat like a rented mule.

 

I haven't seen any replay but I remember Kessler lost his balance when he was down could not put his left knee on the floor right away his feats were completely gone for a few seconds. Could be wrong, but I think that kind of damage is done as a result of a punch.

 

The sad thing about this fight is... this is Greens best performance in the past 4 years. That tells you something about where Green is at, the level he is on.
