I haven't seen any figures, but 680K is a big purse for Magee. How much did he get for Bute?

 

Sauerland made two offers to the Magee camp. The latest offer was around 900.000 USD for the fight in Denmark. By far the best purse in Magee's career.

I presume Magee, for the first time in a long while, has something to lose. If Sauerland says the truth about the money he offered him.

 

And a broken hand sustained 3 weeks before Calzaghe. And doublevision for Ward.

Kessler is an encyclopedia of injuries and a textbook example of a warrior.

 

Bute never really wanted Kessler. He clearly said so after Zuniga and reiterated it with the silly offer last year.

 

Bute was not invited in the super 6 and Sauerland chose Stieglitz instead of Bute, so calm down. No one said ducking.
