Froch on points. He should have won the first one.

I get annoyed by lazy analysis, which is what you and Rico are putting in.

It's hardly as simple as Kessler declining physically and therefore Froch having the advantage now. Especially since 2010 as Rico said, that's absurd - he'd already fully declined by then.

That's a loaded question, we both know his last three opponents aren't of that caliber. That doesn't mean you can't track his progression and compare all three versions of Kessler (through 2007, decline period, and return period).

You can observe what someone is doing well and not well independent of who they're in the ring with, you know.

Froch stands no chance vs Kessler.

 Stop being a moron and taking my comments out of context to construct your own interpretation to them. No one is saying he declined, then improved in 2010, and then went back to declining. :nut

Just calm down and let me clarify what I meant to avoid confusion. Physically, in my opinion, he's no longer as strong as he was in 2010 or before that. His eyes were badly cut up by Froch, he's had surgery on them and even retired for a brief moment. Now, you can paint that line graph however the **** you want to (whether he declined, then stopped declining in 2010, and remained the same level since). The point is, over the years he has declined. Yet I'm "****ing ******ed" if I don't see his body holding up in another war of attrition? Twat.

we are both giving our opinions - thats all

just because you don't agree doesn't make it "lazy analysis"

it also doesn't mean the three periods of progression you lay out are legitimate

don't take points of view over the internet personally ;)

He was the first to knock Green out cold. How could he do that if his strenght has declined?

Do you know how far removed from his best Green is? The same Green who was knocked out by Glen Johnson not long before then? Knocking him out is hardly evidence of your durability improving . Especially when in that same fight you yourself got put on your butt and were visibly hurt.

Kessler brought his power up a weight division and if it was dimimished at SMW it would of been even more weak at LHW. But it wasn't and he has clearly developed more power.

    There is much truth here.

I have Kessler on points in this one, though I don't discount the possibility of him getting jobbed over there in the UK. I've never been high on Froch in terms of his technical skill and athletic ability, and I truly believe that Kessler will fight intelligently and outpoint the pride of Nottingham.

Well, Kessler has always been a decent puncher and seeing as though they say power is the last thing to go, I'm not disputing (nor do I care) the above.

The main thing I'm talking about his durability. That's what I mean by him no longer being the same fighter physically. Or him being as strong as he was. I just don't feel he'll handle the punishment like he did before.

Kessler has improved his arsenal... Froch is in for a surprise... Kessler might not be as strong as in 2007 but a much smarter fighter indeed. Ward destroyed Kesslers eyes with his forehead which ****ed up Kessler accuracy... Kessler had to beat Froch in a toe to toe fight where his accuracy was clearly off... If don't see this you haven't followed Kesslers fights prior to the S6.

Jeg tror det bliver en tæt og hård kamp :) Tror Kessler vinder hvis han har nok tilbage i tanken. To gamle mænd ;-)

Gotta be Kessler by decision. the first fight was a clear win for Kessler and I do not see what has changed.
