    Hermit Hermit Hermit !.

Your accusations versus Sauerland is pathetic.
Abraham seeked for a Pavlik fight. Nothing happened.
Sauerland then told Abraham to go up to 168 to fight Kessler, Froch and Taylor.
And Pavlik then - steps down to fight LMW Williams.

Miami had squat to do with Abraham/Pavlik. There was a front page article where a fighter said Saurland loves to negotiate with himself in the press. I posted it several times. Looks like I should have bookmarked it.

Again, I don't care what they say publicly. It isn't hard to tell from the time line that while Abraham was saying he would wait at 160 for Pavlik he was already committed to the tourney. When Saurland was in New York claiming he was negotiating for Pavlik/Abraham he was probably there putting the finishing touches on the Saurland Six Tourney. Now he could blame Arum when in reality he had other plans already in the works. This one isn't really that hard to figure out.

Hmmm... It is guys like Tom and yourself that make the board worth while. And they let the 10 year old trash talkers go on and on....?

I'm not making any accusations. I'm simply telling it like I see it. He is a shrewd promoter. Nothing wrong with that. See my previous post. Saurland is a master at manipulating public opinion. Arum is a master at getting the most money for his fighters. Which promoter would you rather have? :think

Sauerland's plan always was to get all the titles at MW then move up to SMW, and recently (most likely in the last 1,5 years), the Super Six idea came up either from Ken or from Kalle. The plans still never changed: Miranda is Miami, Marquez in Germany and in the following 12 month, a fight vs. Pavlik before participating in Super Six IF (at all) it get's made (up to the point Sauerland signed Kessler, it wasn't sure). Remember, even Arum mentioned Abraham as a possibility then suddenly came Sergio Mora and all the health/contract/personal/professional mess.

Sorry but I don't trust a guy who's famous for the line "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth". What more proof do you want to finally admit Abraham is not "protected" and was ready to KO KP in YT than him fighting Miranda in Miami and fighting Taylor, Froch, Dirrell, Ward/Kessler possible in 4 different locations in the world?

EDIT: We completely took over this thread... well, back on topic... good luck for Froch in Denmark. :thumbsup

The only question is will it be the unification fight most seem to think it will be? I think Kessler still has his title. Maybe two after this fight. :deal

Blame Arum. Pavlik matched up well with Abraham. Arum is the liar who claimed the fight was already a done deal for this fall, and he said that back in may. That was on video, not just a rumor.

Also, if you were Abraham's promoter you'd rather have him go into the Super Six with multiple fights Guaranteed than just one fight with Pavlik.

I don't think either fighter feared one another. That's ridiculous.

Kelly's people always assumed the fight would happen and were counting on it. Dates and money just never lined up. Prior to Bhop it was dates. After it was money.

Froch and Abraham are the easiest opponents in the tourney for Kessler to fight. Neither has the hand-speed, work-rate, or boxing-skill to trouble Kessler much.
