What happens to mechanical fighters come forward in straight lines fighters that meet someone who has speed and doesnt stand straight up with them and trade?

Not only that, Dawson is the bigger fighter lol. This would be a near shutout for Bad Chad.

Yes because we all know that it was Calzaghe's unorthodoxy that caused Kessler problems. Calzaghe certainly did not win the match by jabbing :hi:

yeah. I am a little worried about that as well. I am quite sure that Palle´s homebrewed contracts doesn´t hold water, but I won´t accept Kessler ending up as the Jean-Marc Bosman of boxing.

I think that Kessler could hook up with an American promotor and slap a lawsuit on Palle while keeping up his career. I just think however misplaced it might be that Kessler is feeling pretty loyal towards the Palles.

Sometimes you need that extra something to take you out of your familiar comfortability. If Palle´s pulling another Haussler like Perdomo I guess and hope that would be a bridge too far for Kessler.

Damn - he must be starved by now.

Kessler's team is too scared to make the fight, they know best of all.

Too bad there are 75 Calzaghe nuthuggers voting in this poll, it should be a landslide win for Chad Dawson.

Dawsons size, speed and outside game are too much for kessler who is better suited to fight a pressure fighter.

I haven't read an analysis pointing out why Dawson would be the big favourite yet. Plenty of good analyses pointing out why Kessler would be favourite, though.:good

dawson KO kessler. Kessler got hurt (almost KO'ed) and hit repeatedly by joe's right hook form the southpaw stance. I want to hear someone in here tell me chad's aint better than joe's in both power and speed. This one is real easy my brothas.

I suggest you watch the fight before commenting on it.

I have no reason to assume Dawson has more power than Calzaghe, at least not to the extent that it would make practical difference against a fighter of Kessler's toughness and chin. He might be slightly faster, but he isn't as active and he's not relentless either. Now THAT is a big difference.
