Kessler is very good when prime, but GGG is echelons better.

    GGG TKO 8.

Not sure how well GGG would translate to 168 (he isn't huge at 160). If the power comes with him I say G by late ko if not think Kessler could take a decision.

There's nothing amazingly apparent to me that Golovkin does better than Kessler, to say he's echelons better is a stretch I feel especially as he's never fought at 168. I felt this was a 50/50.

when kess was at MW he struggled to land even a national title shot though he won two world titles on moving up to the vacuous embryonic graveyard of SMW, I think 3G, a bona fide MW unified champion, is too much for him back in mikks old division.

however arguably kesserl wasn't prime at MW.

Jab, cut off the ring, close the gap, counter, power.. How are these things not apparent?

yeh but this should be at MW surely, not SMW.

kessler was a subnational at MW.

I just can't see a prime 28yr old beast in Kessler getting stopped by anyone at 160-168lbs. I'd have Kessler winning a decision simply because of the size difference

If you think GGG has a better jab than Kessler you need to try spectacles, how is that not apparent?

Also closing the gap over people you have significant physical advantages over isn't the same as closing the gap against someone who is bigger and probably stronger.

Would GGG have these same ring cutting skills vs someone such as Ward? Interesting to find out.

Kessler edges a close UD, I've defended GGG's resume countless times and his skillset, but he's never fought anyone even vaguely close to the level of Kessler, who would walked through GGG's resume with relative ease, he already walked through one of GGG's opponents far more impressively in Bouadla, it would be competitive but I think due to Kessler's skillset, size and chin ultimately he'd prove to be a little too much for GGG and do just enough to take it.
