If Tommy Hearns, who was superior to Kessler in every way, couldn't keep Barkley off of him with his reach and power, I don't see how Kessler could do it. Kessler couldn't just box his way to a decision, he would have to hurt Barkley to have a chance to win imo. That fight would be 65-35 for Barkley for me. My pick would be Barkley by late stoppage.
wow, just....wow. your idiocy never ceases to amaze me i swear. even when facing a known knockout artist you still think whoever gets knocked out has a glass jaw?? well then how would you explain barkley taking hearns best shots?? or barkley trading with duran? sheesh man just do us all a favor and ban yourself, your not a boxing fan your just a troll:verysad
If he'd had a glass jaw he wouldn't have made it past the first 15 seconds of that fight, let alone come back throwing huge punches of his own. Classic one round fight that one.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyw_v1sN-58[/ame] Worth watching for anyone hasnt seen it. Especially the lad who said Barkley had a glass jaw. YOU have a glass jaw, not Iran Barkley. For the record, i think Kessler would have won .
Hearns was miles ahead of Barkley in terms of skill. Him not being able to get the job done twice definitely means something. Even if he was old (he was 30 in their first fight).
Benn hits harder, but has no defense. Barkley is far too crude and nearly elusive enough to cause problems for Kessler.
