I'm giving in because I am ****ing tired and am about to blow my brains out, not because I feel I'm wrong, though I'm in no position to defend myself right now.

barkley was a hell of heavy pucher, it was a good shot, and hearns blew his waud early. the rematch was different. when he got into light heavyweight his chin was alot better

He blew his wad in 3 rounds? No, he simply went in for the kill and got caught.

How in the hell can you claim his chin was better as a Light Heavyweight? There's ZERO logic behind that except for the fact that he didn't get KO'd by Barkley.

 You're gonna play that card? Please give me one reason to think Hearns's chin was any better at LHW.

If he balooned up to 500 pounds would it continue to get harder, just because he was moving up in weight? That's what you're saying. He was well past his physical prime and natural weight at LHW, and was even starting to pudge a little. So why am I to believe his chin is any better there than at say 154 where he dominated everyone and showed no issues?

when you move up in weight you all around get stronger, includiing neck. able to take a punch better. thats why you see those fat asses getting beat on and still coming, Butterbean. Jones chin was better, ruiz hit him with flush shots. Holyfield got stronger, i dont know i cant say anymore than now, i dont have undieable proof that what im saying is true

Cotto is a good example. Very shaky at 40, pretty solid at 47 against bigger hitters. Weight draining severely weakens everyones chin.

True, but it doesn't mean that if you continue to move up past your comfort zone your chin will continue to improve.

It usually will in a an absolute sense.

Ive sparred with 300lb + guys who, whether theyre muscle or fat or whatever, just have bowling ball heads and cant be KO'd. Of course youll also get big guys with glass chins, but thats not the general trend.

Normally fat people are naturally big, therefore their bone structure is better suited to taking the punishment. If someone was naturally very thin and ate themselves into being incredibly fat, it wouldn't be the same because they'd simply have layers of fat instead of thicker bones and body structure.

    tru dat

Although extra weight of any sort will lower your center of gravity and overall increase your resistance to some extent. This is of course useless in reality- an obese Manny Pac would be KO'd by a 175lb club fighter.

Kessler is a very good fighter, but c'mon we're talking about a prime Toney here...
Toney would figure him out pretty fast and then counter him all night long. He'd seriously test Kesllers chin too. I don't know how good Kesslers chin really is, maybe he could last the distance, but no way he beats a prime Toney.
