Mikkel Kessler vs. Mehdi Bouadla RBR

Round 4

Kessler jabs low, then high. Bouadla tries to jab back at him but is getting soundly beaten. Ooh, Bouadla stuff a jab through on to Kessler's face and follows with a clubbing right taken mostly on the wrists. Kessler now starts to HOOK! Hard stuff landing on Bouadla. Kessler sharp shoots from mid range, feet planted and stance wide. Hard jabs and precise crosses. Bouadla is trying to block and roll, and land awkward hooking shots from around the side or just slap Kessler across the face with his palm with lunging downward-chopping jabs. Uppercut by Kessler. He starts to incorporate the uppercut into his combos as it brings him success. Bouadla circles, ducking and dodging behind his guard. Kessler tries to line him up for a 1-2 but is only landing every other shot with Bouadla's erratic movement. Bouadla down hard off a right hand at the end of the round.

Round 5

Kessler loops a big right hand into Bouadla's face from outside. Kessler is having target practice. Bouadla is trying to dance around and use tricky angles but Kessler is just timing his every movement and ripping him with hard straight punches all behind the jab. 1-2 to the body by Kessler, and now a big swooping left hook to the body. That was telegraphed as hell but still made contact as Bouadla was busy protecting his face. Bouadla gets in a good right hand and Kessler clinches. Again Bouadla lands a chopping right. Signs of life? Kessler starts to stand and slug to show he isn't worried about Bouadla's power. Left and right sickle shots from the hip by Kessler, hands low. BIG right hand by Kessler as he gets back into jabbing and circling rhythm. Again he reverts to slugging away with wide powerful sickle shots from either side. Bouadla tries to answer with his own meandering left hook but gets countered hard. Hard 1-2. Another. Another. Kessler MESSING HIM UP!! Bouadla on ***** Street, stumbling! Bouadla DOWN!!!! Up. Ruled a slip. Kessler had been landing HARD shots, but Bouadla ultimately went down because he was stumbling backward off balance. Kessler tees off. Ten seconds left.
