Murray KO12 perhaps? He needs a KO or multiple KD's to win this.

 

Nothing going on, lots of holding. Murray needs to step back and make Rees pay for...oh big right hand by Rees. And then holds. Wild shots and they hold at the end of that round. Nothing happened that round. Both landed next to nothing, and Rees was looking to hold. Interesting to see how the judges scored that round.

 

Only Rees landed something meaningful, Murray doesn't have the abilities or the stamina to capitalize on his tired opponent. 9-2. Stupid TV scores.

Decent shots by Rees, and a BIG RIGHT HAND by Rees sweat flies, and holding on. Rees throwing a bit more, missing, but he is throwing. Murray is just too basic, he can't step back and make Rees pay, and he can't fight on the inside. Wild shots by both and they hold. Right hand by Murray, left hook by Rees, right hand by Rees. Right hand by Rees holding on, 5 seconds left.....and that's it!

 

I wonder if officials are as idiotic as unofficial TV scorers because Murray absolutely did NOTHING effective in the last 3 rounds. Rees still landed some good shots here and there, there was only one doing good work.

Rees 118-110 but I fully expect official judges to score it closer.

Gavin Rees!! Phew! Wow, way too close, IMO. I had it 117-110.

 

Too bad Rees is a 6 round fighter, very nice skills early, impressive stuff but gasses out pretty quickly.
