Miranda doesn't last 5, neither does Pavlik, neither does Taylor.

Abraham has the jaw to last 10 however.

It's not that Kessler is a brooding power puncher, it's that none of these guys have the jaws to last through the accumulation of punishment that he will give them, especially these former MW's.

Miranda, with his no defence, is especially vulnerable.

Kesslers very overrated on this site, the fact he looked to want to take a knee from a average punching Calzaghe doesnt bode to well for him IMO, plus he failed to capitalize on Calzaghes mistakes in there fight, proving he's not a great fighter by any means. A Pavlik fight would be a 50/50, both have questionable chins or in Kesslers case, questionable body.

That poses no problem as the winner is staying in SMW :yep That the loser goes back down to MW is no problem to Mikkel...

Watch the fight and tell me you dont think he would of hit the canvas if the fef wouldnt of stepped in between them, he was obviously hurt by a Calzaghe body punch.

First of all Calzaghe carries good power - second of all People keep saying Calzaghe is so open and bla bla bla ... the thing is that if he was really as open as people think why haven't anybody been able to take advantage of that? Fact is Kessler gave Calzaghe his closest fight to date ... he was good enough to beat him that night, but that doesn't make Kessler a poor boxer - it just shows that Calzaghe is a great boxer...

I don't think he would have hit the canvas if the Ref hadn't stepped in

Pavlik-Abraham - I think that's pretty unlikely... Abraham is making good money fighting in Germany and Pavlik is making good in the US. It's not a superfight (moneywise), so why would any of the two fighters take a paycut to make it happen?

I never said Kessler was a poor boxer, he's a pretty good boxer that froze many times instead of pulling the trigger when he had a wide open Calzaghe right infront of him. When you say "Why hasnt anyone took advantage of that", which is easy answer, look at Calzaghes competition, Eubank was old and Lacy was one-dimensional, who tends to load up on his punches, instead of throwing his big left hook fluidly. I believe Hopkins will be a real test for him, even though Hopkins is well past his prime, he still is a great counter puncher, who will take advantage of whatever mistake Calzaghe may make.

Well, I hope Kessler enjoys the fight because he won't be getting the winner if history is any indication. I personally find history a better indicator than wishes and hopes.

Or Joe C is a skilled boxer and what looks like an opening to some one sitting on the side lines may look like a trap to the person in the ring? Maybe Joe C has a counter punch too? Pavlik thought he was at safe distance when he taunted Taylor. He was wrong!

Im a huge fan of Taylor and like Pavlik, but Kessler would destroy both of them within the distance..
