I guess it means unless he wins it , his career will have to go down as " promised a lot , didnt quite deliver " However if he does win it outright , then fair enough.
Funny...he actually mentioned that he would retire even after winning the tournament as double champ.
I guess the last couple of years being butt ****ed by his old promoter have taken their toll and probably made him fall out of love with the sport. Hopefully the money and the acclaim from the super six will keep him in boxing. (assuming he's still got it)
If he wins this thing there is no way he'll retire. The money and stardom on offer will be too good to turn down.
He said that he doesn't think he has many fights left in him AFTER the Super Six. Nothing about retiring when the super six is over
i won't miss him. finally we'll get rid of that waste in current boxing lists (boxrec,ring,p4p:rofl). after not winning it (which means at least one more loss) , and getting exposed again , he'll call it a career , retire , and complete his income from a Danish/German/British promotions company and investments. just a businessman who had a protected boxing career. unlike dlh who was a very good boxer , if not great and also a successful businessman. kessler falls short in both departments compared to dlh and also . he just needed initial sum of money , and an alledged 'experience' , and that was what his poor boxing career (even poorer than calzaghe's) gave him. only danish nationalists and calzaghe fans (formerly known as british nationalists) are both blind enough to consider kessler a more than average fighter. only these 2 types of people would dare to think kessler p4p.
This is the worst, most biased piece of crap I have seen in a long time. Go away, and come back only if you got something reasonable to say!
