Most of the credit he is given is not about his record but rather his talent ! The man has possibly one of the best jabs in boxing and many good tools in his bag... If you have eyes to see.....
yes he does but theres also a case for him being a bit one-dimensional - and don't forget that a talented fighter (which kessler is) can always look good against b-grade opponents. the SMW tournament will show what he really has.
Guy has made some valid points and as they differ from yours suddenly he is a Troll what a load of ****!
Personally I think that Kessler is just looking for an excuse for why he isnt going to win. After he loses a couple of the fights it will be "Oh My heart wasnt in it, I was ready to move one" Then he will keep fighting.
so now anyone who wins a championship vs the top guys and defends once or twice against the top guys in that divison is an ATG? hey mother ****er no great shakes as that has been done regularly throughout boxing history.
If that's the case he will retire well short of being an ATG. Kessler's expected to win this tournament anyway. Come to think of it, if he retires he will do so without winning a single match in which he was the underdog.
Kessler never used excuses before, maybe he`s going to fight in the states but that doesn`t mean he will change his attitude into ala Hopkins, if he lose a fight he will admit he lost to the better fighter.. not trying to justify his loss with an excuse! But agree on the point, he will keep fighting!
IF he retire (which he dont). I would say, fair enough! After the super six, he has around 46-48 pro fights. Which is ok for a boxer!
