After two defeats, are Mikkel Kessler done ? IMO. he's now chasing the money, cant blame him but, I hope I'm wrong, opinions ?
Kessler cautch two periods in SMW and lost to the best boxer in the first and to the 1/2 in the second so...In this period appeared new boxers capable of beating him as Ward, Bute and maybe others. A lot of people accused Bute to not fight the best but were the real opportunities and the promoter`s policy. Now we can see the truth. The danish emeritus champion avoids a dangerous fight. The funny thing is he said "If Bute has the courage to fight me..." and finally his promoter considers 3 mil is two small for the risk. This only reveals the value of Bute.
Only lost to Calzage and Ward is not a bad thing, he's fight with Froch was a great win and he looked pretty good in his last fight. I think he beats Bute, you guys need to remember that it's not always the fighters fault when fights don't get made. I doubt Kessler is scared.
Being realistic, Kessler probably only have 2-3 matches left. I think they are trying to stage his career end in a way that secures him health, money and reputation to the degree that is possible, though health and money seems to have main priority. Can't blame him, really.
He will beat Stieglitz and then I hope he will fight a unification bout with Bute... I would love to see that one :yep He's not done yet! Viking Warrior! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9qavbcJPRU[/ame]
Thought he won very well last time out and looked sharp and fit. Can imagine Froch wants that re-match badly
Bute will probably win with Pavlik and will receive the first chance of a fight with the Froch/Ward winner.Kessler has to wait.
Beats Stieglitz, gets a belt, can receive more money against Bute, Froch etc, then retirement.. WAR KESSLER
That would be a good plan. I think he will beat Stieglitz. I don't think he will be favorite against Bute and Froch, but at least he has a decent chance (which is also partly determined by where they fight).
