Mikkel Kessler

I hear he'll be back mid-2008. I'd love to see him get a title shot right away, but Bute isn't ready for him yet. Fights against Wright, Lacy, Froch, and Inkin would be great and I have no doubt he'd win all of them.

 

Why is he not ready is Bute not going around calling himself a champion of the world ?

Kessler is coming off a defeat, but instead is fightintg him he is fighting a 37 y/o joppy :tired Who just beat an opponent with 13 losses in a row previous to joppy :yep And his previous oppont had loss 7 in a row and you wont belive this but the opponent before had lost 9 and drawn 1 before fighting joppy.

Of course joppy deserves a title shot on that form :bart

Some fighters are markeded by talking trash - some on being the ones people want to see beat the fighters talking trash - Kessler is the last one. Kessler is the one the kid can point to and say to his mother - "I want to box" and convince her that boxing is a OK sport for her kid.

You've got to be for real - People can spot an act a mile away. Kessler is a likeable guy - that's just the way it is.

And the fight with Calzaghe was the biggest fight ever made in SMW in terms of attendance, money, belts and more...

 

If Kessler is ok about moving up in weight, he could consider fighting Danny Green if none of the Americans are willing to fight him. Green is a big name, a rugged fighter with power who has never been KO'd, a good start to building a bigger profile for Kessler. I can't see anyone in SMW or LHW beating Kessler aside from Calzaghe, he has the tools and mentality to be an ATG. Technically, he is near perfect, Great jab and straight right, very good power, short, precise left hook, with his skills it takes something extraordinary, ie. Joe Calzaghe, to defeat him. Hopefully he gets the big fights he needs to prove this sooner rather than later.

 

There are a lot of threads on him because he has a lot of fans! Excellent boxer that is genuinly a nice guy :good . I don't care if he lost to JC; he fought all the way, gave it everything he had, and even said afterwards that he lost to the better man. How many times do you hear that? I am a lifelong fan of his; guys like him are fantastic for the sport

 

what does it mean when you guys call eachother trolls? or say someone is trolling?

 

From what I have heard it means that they are only posting something to get a "rise" out of people, **** them off, or start an argument

kessler should fight miranda. but i doubt he wants anything to do with that.

would be an OK fight and it would end with Kessler knocking Miranda out. EM is too sloppy to beat Kessler.
