Exactly like i sees it - and it frightens me. Just saw and interview with the trainer Richard Olsen after the Häussler fight. When asked about the next opponents he couldn't mention one :yikes COME ON :bbb
you totally misunderstood what i was getting at.. im a dane myself, so im aware of those fights. but thats besides the point. why did they fight sartison first and not haussler, that way kessler wouldnt have wasted, a chunk of his career fighting both. what im getting at, was it impossible for him to go straight for haussler and not fight sartison..??
Because of the "MASTER PLAN". Would love to hear more about that. Teampalle.dk last update is still juli 21 :yikes
you are absolutly wrong about that they "will milk him in europe". Kessler, mike marley and mogens palle are on their way to US to talk to HBO,kessler says that in a tv show in denmark right after the haussler fight.Kessler and he´s manager and promoter knows and WANT to continue working on a fight in the US,or at least get HBO involved in the next fight. Kessler himself has wanted to fight in the states for years!!! he want´s to consider himself as the no.1 in smw.AND he knows that HBO has to be involved,if he want´s to be worldwide known. Kessler was asked who he´s favorite opponents was,he answered:calzaghe, winky wright, roy jones, hopkins i don´t remember the last one. Kessler is more than ready and willing to go the US.... Wait and see...the next kessler fight is shown on HBO,AND i think against an american fighter.:thumbsup
The "Plan" was to get the title against a live opponent, they opted for Mundine (but he ran away), then they lobbyed Miranda up the rankings to 2. at WBA to fight for the title (but he was at that time in negotiations with Athur Abraham, so he turned the offer down). Palle then choose to go with Sartison (because he was undefeated), with the intention to eighter pay Haussler off or use his contacts within the WBA to avoid getting a fight with Haussler. That as we all know didnt happen because Sauerland (Hausslers promoter) who has a lot of influence on the WBA, demanded the fight, and wouldn´t take step aside money. The Master plan was to get the WBA title and go to the US. Now it is get the belt, fight the mandatory and then to the US. (Hopefully)
Because Sartison was placed by WBA as the challenger for the vacant title after Braehmer moved up, and Mundine/Calzaghe vacated. I think that Sartison was a pretty good fighter, though not experienced enough at this level. Palle and Kessler do not chose who shall be the challenger(for a vacant title) or the mandatory. It just shows that the Germans have alot of influence in WBA or in general. There was no reason for Haussler to be placed so high - Sartison can be argued for to a little extent. Inkin doesn't go anywhere, Green and Miranda seems indecisive at what weight they want to fight. Mundine seems happy doing his own things. Taylor just moved up, and wants to face another american - both gain more from facing each other, than they would any other at this point.
It pretty much has to be one from this list: JERMAIN TAYLOR LUCIAN BUTE ROY JONES BERNARD HOPKINS CHAD DAWSON JEFF LACY ALLAN GREEN KELLY PAVLIK WINKY WRIGHT JOE CALZAGHE Carl Froch would be qualified, but not for now, it needs to be in America against an American.
Remove, Pavlik and Wright from your list. Wright is too small, and Pavlik still has business to attend to at his own division(read: Arthur Abraham).
