I voted the Froch win. It was a close war that was full of entertainment. However, i think it was important for Kessler, after his losses to Ward and Calzaghe, to prove that he is truly in the elite class of SMW's and that he wasn't just a hype job.
Kessler has had several very good wins. I think his most impressive would be Marcus Beyer. American fans will probably say Froch, because they probably wont know Beyer too well. But Beyer was a 3 time WBC champ who had good wins over R Woodhall, E Lucas (long before Kessler beat Lucas) & Danny Green the now world rated CW when undefeated. Kessler beat Beyer in style. After Beyer id say Froch after that.
I've got to go with the Froch win. That one was a solid investment--Froch is likely to beat Abraham, and possibly even win the tournament. Then he's got some sort of gentleman's agreement to fight Pascal at 175, and if Pascal is still the champ and Froch wins it... Lots of 'ifs,' but Froch has proven me wrong too many times for me to not give him his props.
beating froch by a mile. after the ward a fight he looked to be on a serious decline, he proved vs froch he was still a top level opponent. easily his career best victory, even though i actually thought froch won the fight.
