What do you guys think that he should do next?

Personally, I am into the Andre Ward rematch. Listen, Ward have nowhere else to go. Froch? But he is doing the Groves match next time out, so that is out od the door.

Even though i am danish, i will Mikkel a great chance of winning. Ward is coming of long layoff and hasn´t really done anything since beating Froch. Of course Mikkel lost to Froch last time out, but it was more like Kessler losing it and not Froch winning it, if you get me? Mikkel should just a been doing something the first 3 round other than eating Froch jabs all night. Other than that i think it was a great fight and actually i had i 114-114, a draw. I thought that Froch just was throwing punches and not really hitting Mikkel, which shows of i the punchs states. Froch just landed 25 % of over a 1000 punches. Mikkel was a lot more accurate and nailing Froch with left hands all night. But i think Ward and Kessler makes a lot of senses for both fighter, and because of the first fight, which was a disgrace and I can´t believe to this day why Ward was not disqualified.

But Kessler v Ward next, lets get it on. :bbb

He should retire. I think he's pretty much done at this point and gave all he has left against Froch in the rematch. A rematch with Ward is pointless and the result will be obvious.

I think Kessler vs Bute would be a very good fight.

Froch was hurting Kessler with the body-shots in the last fight and that'll make for a competitive bout if Bute met him.

Done? Where can you see that he is done? He did great in the Froch fight. He is not Roy Jones done. I cant see why he should retire. Other than if he is not motivated.

They're both top ten in the rankings and I think it'll be a good fight.

What do you want, Froch - Kessler 3?
    Kessler - Ward 2?

    Kessler loses both quite convincingly.

I think Kessler has a few fights left, in and around the top ten.

Top 2 is a waste of time.

He was almost stopped in that fight despite doing great. I had the fight for Kessler by the way but it's very close and can't argue with the many that scored it for Froch. He is done in terms of age and desire in my opinion. I don't think he would want to go through a tough training camp like that again. He already hinted at retirement due to injuries.

But for what purpose? He could fight Stieglitz and get the WBO belt, but he would not get any credit for it. Stieglitz was beaten by the "great" Abraham... Froch 3 or Ward 2, nowhere else to go for Mikkel. i think he would be fantastic in both of those fights!

Fair enough. But i still think there is 1 or 2 big fights left i him. If i was Mikkel that should be Ward in the fall in Denmark and Froch on neutral ground and finish the career on a high. Maybe Stieglitz for the WBO belt.

Retirement would be possible -- but too many good fights to be made to want that at this point. A Bute fight, an Oosthuizen fight, maybe even a Rodriguez fight would be worthwhile.

Ward(When fully fit) is on a collision course vs Froch for next year.
Is Kessler just going to sit it out and not fight?

If Kessler beats some top 10 people he's every right to attempt to take on one of the two top guys in the division.
Its only fair the Groves of the World get to fight these guys before they retire.

Kessler had his shot. Back off the queue.

Ward isn't going to make the move out of his country with his titles especially for Kessler who he already beat and is coming off a loss to someone he beat as well. A Ward fight would be pointless really regardless of location. I'd rather see him fight someone else, Stieglitz would be good or even Abraham.
