Let us pray that Dirrels showing makes Ward fight...
That is all I ask for.

Kessler will knock Ward out, he can't leave it to Ward's commentators, judges, referee, hometown. I have to give Kessler lots of credit to fight Ward in Ward's hometown. If it were to go to a decision and Kessler wins, Ward's fans will somehow find a way to complain.

Why say that? Kessler does have some balls going to Oakland to fight in Ward's backyard.

To me, this is by far the toughest fight to call for the first round. Conventional wisdom saids Kessler takes it as he's the favorite but Ward has the right tools and mindset to upset Kessler. It wouldn't shock me one bit if Ward wins this fight.

But i'll go with Kessler UD in a close bout. Ward won't fight in front of Kessler. He will give him angles and switch stances regularly. That should throw Kessler off a bit.

You act like that is somethin special and out of the ordinary. Its the super six tourney...everyone is fighting out of their countries in others backyards. You are makin Kessler out to be a hero because he is fighting in Oakland when Dirrell and Taylor just faught in hostile territory.

It was Kessler's decision, he did not have to fight in Ward's hometown.

Ward will win some rounds, perhaps even the first few outright - but not the fight.

Kessler is the champion. It was naturally that Ward went to Denmark in order to fight him. I guess they want to make it more competitive.

Dirrell was a challenger too. Taylor for the first time fighting out of USA.

It is special that Kessler is fighting Ward in his backyard. I hope that Kessler will not leave it to the judges. And I expect Ward to run a lot.

Froch fought his first title defence in the states, against Taylor. Its not uncommon when the Champion wants US exposure, as all the Europeans in this tournament have expressed great interest in, to fight the American challenger in America.

The fact that its his hometown, id imagine thats just so theres a better chance for a full stadium, as most American fighters dont have fanbases that follow them country-wide.
