That maybe the case, but Breazeale has been a mando for a while now and it doesnt look like he will lose it anytime soon... so Breazeale it is!

Technically, since the WBC ordered an immediate rematch for Tyson Fury, Fury is "technically" the WBC mandatory and likely satisfies Wilder's mandatory obligation for the year.

They (the WBC) officially "mandated" Wilder fight Fury. So Fury is the 'mandatory.' Whether they sent out a press release calling him that or not. Just saying.

Whyte can choose who he wants to fight. He's more than earned a title shot. He's rated #1.

This isn't a Fres Oquendo situation. Breazeale has never filed or won or settled a lawsuit with the WBC. Whyte doesn't have to beat him to get a title fight.

If they are "painting" a Whyte-Breazeale fight as a way to guarantee that Whyte is Wilder's next opponent ... it's just a way to "sell" a beatable Breazeale to a PPV audience in the UK.

Whyte can get a Wilder fight without fighting Breazeale. Just like Ortiz did. Just like Fury did (twice).

That said, if Whyte fights Breazeale, that should be fun, too, while it lasts. I think Whyte wins in a couple rounds. Breazeale gets hit with everything. They won't put it on PPV here, so that's fine by me.

I don't think Whyte - Brezeale is a good PPV fight - and it may rate lowly

So how exactly does he get Wilder to fight him? Nothings worked thus far.

Yeah sure Whyte can choose the WBC ranked opponent he wants to fight... doesn't mean the opponent will fight him.

Whyte therefore needs to try and force the hand of the opponent by getting an 'order' from the WBC to have the fight sanctioned and mandated.

The WBC like to do what they want... little logic ... but Whyte will check with the WBC beforehand that if he fights breazeale he gets to be mandatory if Wilder still champ following Wilder Fury rematch.

He is no fool after getting messed around by WBC..this increases his chances of a WBC title shot in future.

Thats funny cos Ortiz only replied to AJ once the Miller talks and terms were well under way.

    AJ has Ortiz shook.

lol little bit different.. Unless Whyte had 4 belts and was far the "A" side..

Really Whyte is a victim of his own importance, like Wilder he think he is far more valuable then what he is .. Eddie made him put him on PPV and set him up with good opponents so Eddie is partly to blame as well..

Whyte should have taken a great deal and the 50/50 rematch (which is far more than he deserves) but probs has blown his chance.. He isn't etting the Wilder fight so this was his best bet by far..

A lot of revisonism on here.

    1. AJ has not struggled in one fight outside Klitschko ,add up the rounds and you'll see that.
Beyond Wlad the biggest thing AJ had to adjust to was a deliberate head butt by Parker which followed a huge left hook that didn't even get Joshuas attention . ( Yes the same Parker crying about an UNINTENTIONAL Whyte head butt)

    2. Joshua didn't try and K.O parker he actually toyed with him and ran out a fight for 12 rounds giving Parker the option to come inside and go for it ,except Parker clinged for dear life and tried to hold and hit that the Ref stopped because well???? Its against the rules but fans cried about it. in reality Parker would have got crushed bc he cant fight on the inside. the ref did him a favor.

    3. Whyte was overweight for Parker and got tired that's how parker got him,he was being outboxed itsa on video, the head butt literally had no effect on parker who won a few rounds after but not many.

4.On the thread . Well Whyte is underestimating potential opponents again its his weakness . Hes not so far above Miller or Povetkin even if he wins. Miller will cause him problems bc Whyte can be backed up by pressure and Povetkin is a btter version of Parker. I would favor Whyte over Miller slightly and Povetkin I haven't made my mind up? did Povetkin really recover from such shots at years of fighting from AJ ?

5.Whyte overates his abilities but its not to bad hes just always one step behind and gets into firework fights. If he took a few easy touches it would be better but he probably wont do that. I already stated he needs that U.K former champion ,his son boxes ( cant think of his name?) that helped him spar and show a lot with Tibbs ??

Anyway Whytes on a collision course somewhere ? Breazeale is a very dangerous guy for Whyte who lunges a right hand ,this is no easy fight for anyone in one round or 12 rounds this will be crazy fight.

People are getting to hung up on how AJ has won ,not the actual other guys fighting eachother. everyone called Martina bum ,what happened ? He almost beat Kownacki. what happened to Molina when Wilder said he will cause AJ problems? He got crushed. Breazeale was a bum to until he derailed the equally tough as Parker training partner touted as the most viscious body puncher Izu and put him through the ropes and he was labled a bum bc of how AJ easily busted him up. What happened when most thought Parker would win over Whyte bc it went 12 with AJ and AJ knocked out Whyte in 7 ? Enough said !

I think we'll get Whyte Vs Povetkin.. Hearn keeps throwing Povetkins name in conversations.

I don't think Breazeale will risk his mandatory spot, why should he? I wouldn't advise him to would you?

Unless they paid him a ridiculous amount of money but even then Breazeale has genuine beef and history with Wilder and really wants that fight.

Breazeale is with Haymon right? Will Haymon be doing Hearn any favours after all what's gone on with Wilder?

I don't think so, I believe Haymon will advise Breazeale to wait it out because if Fury beats Wilder in a rematch then Haymon has Breazeale (regardless of his actual chances against Fury) waiting in line and next up for the WBC title.

Ortiz is also with Haymon, ranked highly with the WBC and again I believe Haymon will advise him to stick with the WBC route unless its AJ and all those belts.

Povetkin has worked with Hearn a couple of times, they worked out two good deals, Povetkin battered Price, lost to AJ and I'm sure Povetkin would look at it as a chance to throw himself right back up in the mix if he beats Whyte.

    Reverse the split lol.

C'mon Dillian get real. Whyte seems to think his on the same level commercially as Joshua which is simply ridiculous.

I can fully understand Whyte wanting a bigger split for a rematch as the champion but reverse it. That's laughable.

If Canelo had a voluntary vs BJS or let's say Charlo we all know no matter the result there would be no reverse split on a rematch. That's just now how it works when you have one fighter who is clearly the much bigger draw than his opponent.

So Whyte beats AJ becomes champion... then AJ gets gets the bigger share for fighting a champion? Pfahaha

Nah what you say is ridiculous.

Anyways who cares... it aint happenings if Whyte gets a WBO mando then no rematch clause ... and hopefully he beats AJ so he can tell you, AJ and Hearn to go **** yourselves if you want a rematch and accept what you are given for being unreasonable the first time round.

You're living in a fairly tale land of unicorns and pixies if you think in the real world a huge draw accepts the short end of the stick in a rematch even if he loses. Did Mosley make more than De La Hoya in the rematch, nope. Did Bradley get the larger share when he rematched Pac? Nope he only got $6 mill while Pac got $20 mill.

While Whyte is a big draw himself compared to Joshua he's dwarfed in terms of ability to generate revenue. When you beat a champion you win his belts you don't win his ability to draw fans and create revenue. The majority of people would be paying to see Joshua try and regain his titles not Whyte defend his titles.

It's all a matter of perspective, we don't know how emphatically Whyte might beat AJ first time round, he might steal his entire crowd and his show. Then how do you put numbers on who drew what crowd?

Do you do a survey? Hi guys did you come to see Dillian or AJ in this rematch today?

AJ was built up by Hearn, without Hearn and his machine behind him he wouldn't have this fame, Whyte has built himself up with some help from Hearn but no other team behind him except him and his family.

He hasn't been given the extra helping hand in filling out stadiums like Wembley and marketing himself.

So we agree to disagree, but remember reverse splits was Hearns idea in the first place for a Chisora rematch and he didn't accept his same idea for an AJ rematch for Whyte.

So I guess Chisora is bigger draw than Whyte too yeah?

Like I said... WBO mando.. no rematch clause... **** this ****e eddie hearn AJ greed promotion that is locking out the the top 4 from fighting each other.

All offers by AJ rejected... we live in a world of unicorns as everything is going fantastic with the current model.

Who cares how america do things, it doesn't make it right? WBC is corrupt as ***** it's time we readjusted this ridiculous splits,.
