The fine line between Chisora and Whyte is not so much ability... but attitude. Whyte is always is dedicated to the sport, he takes it more seriously than Chisora... and for that Whyte could never be a gatekeeper.

WOW, You just make things up, I never said or thought Parker would "walk over Whyte".

I'll tell you what.. If you can show me a quote where I said that phrase or something very similar I'll log out and never come back.. but if you can't find me saying that phrase or something very similar then you log out and never come back?

    Deal?

Naaaah You won't agree to that because you know you have just made that up, You just lose credibility saying and doing things like that.

Anyway, I supported Whyte, I believe I tipped him to win, if I didn't I would have predicted a close fight, I'll go back and quote myself if you really want me to? Might take some time though.

I wouldn't have to go back that far to show you.. me saying Whyte deserves his title shot, he shouldn't fight Ortiz, he is most deserving.. so just stop lying and calling everybody "haters" if they don't agree with you.

What you don't seem to understand or just can't accept is boxing fans criticising, praising and being consistent in their principles when talking about a certain fighter.

Fighters can be criticised and praised, I haven't got to be 100% all in on anybody or anything, I can like some stuff and dislike other stuff.

For example, I praise Hearn and also criticise him, I have slaughtered him for putting David Price on PPV again and again, I slaughter him for PPV, I openly say Hearn is annoying, irritating and is sometimes full of it but I also praise him for never hearing stories of him robbing fighters, I praise him for building fighters and making them millions..

So am I now a Hearn Hater? How does it work here?

Understand what I'm saying? Just because we don't all jump on Whyte nuts for everything and don't agree with you doesn't make us haters.

Anyway, you just saw what I stuck up, the official judges scorecards, so it's clear Whyte wasn't dominant, he got a decision in a very close fight, a fight where there was a poor (outright wrong to be fair) knockdown call that ultimately decided the fight, he was the home fighter, on a matchroom card, on a Sky PPV. That's rather fortunate.

Im even letting slide you called the punch Parker threw in 12th round "lucky" a couple of nights go.. look, just please stop pretending Whyte did something he never did, beat Parker comfortably because he didn't, that's all.

I'll concede it was a close fight, I'll also concede Chisora fight (1st one) was close.

But Whyte won the Parker fight, as he put more of himself in it when Parker decided to go on the back foot and act defeated when his attacks didn't get off the ground. He had his flurry in round 12 but it was too little too late, and Whyte really shouldn't have traded at that point.

Let's move on man, it's a new year and new fights to be made, why dwell on history.

I thought exactly the same thing, I was sure I had spoken to him before and he was OK.

These Whyte conversations have got him hyper.

To be honest, I haven't defended Whyte on any point that professional boxers themselves haven't already echoed or will admit themselves.

Hearing the commentary on the Chisora fight, Helenius, Parker and even from Joshua on the Chisora rematch... they alle echo the same things I say.

So I am not really trolling if I am reaffirming what the experts have already laid down.

Show some appreciation for Whyte man, he is not a great boxer.. but he is a good fighter. He has poor technical ability but improving, and he does some things quite well which carries him through to success, overtaking others who have plenty of ability.

Yeah I admit, I got hyper and a little crazy in response to the other side of the fence that refused to give any credit to Whyte whatsoever.

I had to retaliate with my recent rhetoric on Whyte these past few months.

I'm sort of busy, well when I say busy.. I'm pretending to listen to my wife waffling on about her day at work and basically nodding a lot and saying "Whoooaaa really..", "You were right" and the standard "I agree".

But when she stops TALKING AT ME... FFS this is boardering on mental abuse, I have human rights.. anyway

I will go back and show you my praise for Whyte, I'll look like a moby quoting myself but so be it. I have been and still am complimentary of Whyte and certainly not a hater.

No hard feelings, its not personal to you as a person, we are just text on a screen and it's a Forum and we are all boxing fans and obviously all passionate, it happens.

I haven’t had a turnaround, I don’t rate him, I’ve told you all along, I don’t hate him, i actually find his personality quite funny, contrary to the majority of people who think he’s a tit. I just simply don’t rate him. It’s just that I think Breazeale is dreadful (but I completely understand why that fight is his priority over Ortiz & Povetkin as it forces the WBCs hand, as the WBC has been his target all along) & Povetkin is still a good operator, despite his age. You just assumed I hated him because I don’t rate him

AJ & Fury definitely beat him imo, Wilder fight is a LOT closer but Id still pick Wilder, although Wilder doesn’t seem too sturdy, and I think Whyte could hurt and finish him, I’d just back Wilder to land the most devastating blow first. I’d make Usyk a favourite at this point, even though Whyte is a lot bigger, I just can’t see Whyte getting near him. Ortiz, I could go either way on tbh.... He beats the rest I think

Get me the quote prior to the Whyte v Parker fight that you tipped Whyte to win and I will issue a public apology to you about my post.

I won't back down from the lucky punch comment, because Whyte got careless and Parker threw a wild punch that was no where to be seen for the entire fight. Whereas Whyte's left hook is something we've seen time and time again, a calculated, trained, familiar technique.

I have no issue with people sharing critiscim as long as it is constructive and objective about the actions of a fighters, and not dismissive of the fighter as a whole.

    Instead of:

Whyte is a bum, he scraped by Parker and a rematch should be called immediately before thinking about AJ

    I would appreciate:

Whyte roughed Parker a little too much in there, but I guess it is a fight after all and they are both coming in to hurt each other. Parker was being too nice in there, had Whyte been docked a point, that might have been fair.

However Whyte did some great things in the fight in remaining consistent with the pressure and handling the speed diadvantage well. The clash of heads I'll give the benefit of the doubt in being accidentaly, however unfortunate.. it was a close a fight.. and perhaps a draw wouldn't have been out of the question although Whyte displayed good performance against a younger fighter in parker with 15 years more experience.

    ---------------------------------------------

Regarding my comments about Whyte's performance, he dominated Parker in spirit achieving the moral victory in taking Parkers confidence and energy away, as Parker looks visibily sorry for himself and out of ideas in continuing his failed gameplan. Parkers trainer himself conceded that he understimated Whyte's ability to box.

However I concede for the record that the fight was close, but Whyte definitely edged that victory even by a point.

You make very fair points on those matchups and I actually agree, he loses to Fury, and he is the underdog in an AJ fight but I believe he has more chance to beat AJ then anyone else right now based on styles and his undeniable power.

Look man, let me get the record straight - I do not rate Whyte's boxing ability, I rate his ability to win fights and beat others who have more ability then him.

He is an underdog but he grinds so hard, and gives so much to the sport that I find it admirable and this is where my support for Whyte comes from. I'll never look back and say "remember the boxing skill Whyte had" Nope... just man that overcame his shortcomings to string together some success in a stacked heavyweight divisions and make good future for himself when it could have gone the other way.

I rate his attitude and work ethic, not his boxing prowess, or lack of.

Why is he bothered about rematch splits? A bit premature about about a fight when someone has already knocked you spark out.
