If he was "100% healthy" in December, why the hell wait another half a year? It'll have been a month shy of TWO GODDAMN YEARS since the Usyk los when he sets foot back in the ring.

 

I was actually more looking forward to seeing how Gassiev does at heavyweight than Usyk.

 

I thought Hearn recently hoped to have him on the Mikey-Vargas card, unless I read wrong

 

Damn shame really. The only good thing about it is that he's still young.

 

Yeah but that's a chunk of prime gone. If somebody's gonna sit on the shelf for a portion of their career I'd rather it not be @ their peak.

 

Gassiev won't be the same again. When a fighter gets blanked like he did and then takes 1 1/2 -- 2 years off afterwards to get right in the head....... VERY bad sign, just too much doubt in his head, thats a killer.

Shame too because he really was an excellent fighter. Was well on his way to becoming Abel's greatest improvement in a fighter.

 

Gassiev is still having his back waxed from after the Usyk fight.

The extra weight of the excessive hair slowed him down which is why Usyk beat him.

 

Old man midget Lebedev gave him all he could handle. Juiced up, 300lb gorilla Miller grinds him out to a tko loss.

 

What exactly makes it inevitable?

 

We have no evidence that Miller is any good without steroids.
